Media Application Code of Conduct
Contestants can sign-up at Registration from Friday, September 13th at 3pm until Saturday, September 14th at 4pm.
Our contest allows local and visiting cosplayers to showcase their craftsmanship skills and character portrayals. Local professional cosplayers will lead the team of judges to select the winners of a spirited competition that is inclusive of all skill levels. Participation in the contest is open to all convention attendees with your valid convention badge.
Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Judges' Choice are provided by COFOH sponsor Unstable Culture! Prizes also include cash and horror blu-rays/DVDs from COFOH sponsors, more details to be announced!
While the judges deliberate, we will feature a parade of kid cosplayers on the Monster Main Events stage! All kid cosplayers will receive gift bags, including gift cards from COFOH sponsor Main Event!

Phantom 8 Tattoo and Mutiny Information Cafe present the COLORADO FESTIVAL OF HORROR tattoo competition “INKED IN BLOOD 3” on Sunday Sept 15th at 2pm, in the Monster Main Events Room!
HEY SLASHERS & FINAL GIRLS! Get your ink body art ready for display! Apply lotion to your undead flesh and crawl down to the Colorado Festival of Horror and enter your hide in the Horror Tattoo Contest!
Hosted by Phantom 8 Tattoo’s Chris J'tot, and featuring a panel of judges including Chris J'tot and Jim Norris of Mutiny Information Cafe.
Categories TO BE ANNOUNCED
Trophies and prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. The categories will be judged by the panel. Tattoos can be healed or fresh. Entry forms will be available at REGISTRATION. Please make sure to list the artists’ names!
