Contestants can sign-up at Registration from Friday, September 13th at 3pm until Saturday, September 14th at 4pm.
Our contest allows local and visiting cosplayers to showcase their craftsmanship skills and character portrayals. Local professional cosplayers will lead the team of judges to select the winners of a spirited competition that is inclusive of all skill levels. Participation in the contest is open to all convention attendees with your valid convention badge.
RULES:
- All cosplays should be in line with the Costume, Weapons, and Props Policy.
- All costumes, no matter the genre, are welcome to participate in the cosplay contest. 1st-3rd place prices will be reserved for the best HORROR-THEMED cosplays as chosen by the judges. Judges' Choice and Honorable Mention are open to everyone.
- Criteria taken into account by judges includes, but is not limited to authenticity/originality, presentation, and detail.
Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Judges' Choice are provided by COFOH sponsor Unstable Culture! Prizes also include cash and horror blu-rays/DVDs from COFOH sponsors, more details to be announced!
While the judges deliberate, we will feature a parade of kid cosplayers on the Monster Main Events stage! All kid cosplayers will receive gift bags, including gift cards from COFOH sponsor Main Event! Goody bags will be available for the first 50 children lined up for the costume parade.
