Welcome to year 6 of Colorado's Best Horror Convention

COLORADO FESTIVAL OF HORROR: CLOWNS VS. WITCHES RETURNS FOR YEAR 6!

Colorado’s original, home-grown, fan-run horror convention and film festival rises again September 18–20, 2026, in its new bigger & better location, the Denver Marriott Tech Center!

Denver, CO — Colorado Festival of Horror (COFOH): Clowns vs. Witches is back for its sixth terrifying year, summoning slashers, creepy clowns, black cats, ghouls, aliens, ghosts, scary witches, and everything that goes bump in the night. September 18–20, 2026, at the Denver Marriott Tech Center (4900 S. Syracuse St., Denver, CO).

Colorado’s horror scene comes alive at COLORADO FESTIVAL OF HORROR: CLOWNS VS. WITCHES, where evil clowns grin, witches whisper, and nightmares collide! Join fans from near and far for a weekend of blood-splattered panels, twisted workshops, frightening film festival, haunted vendors, celebrity Q&As, and interactive scares, plus after-hours costume contest, trivia, tattoo competition, karaoke, midnight ghost stories, and more. From the feral laughter of clowns to the shadowed chants of witches, COFOH is the ultimate cursed circus of chaos, carnage, and fun — touch up the greasepaint, grab your spellbooks, and choose your side — Clowns vs. Witches, where the screams are just getting started.

The Reel Horrors Film Festival at COFOH is back for its second year! Last year, we showcased a terrifyingly thrilling lineup of six 45-minute short film blocks, featuring submissions from Colorado filmmakers, first-timers, international talent, and award-winners from festivals like SXSW, Fantasia Fest, and even the Academy Awards - the majority of which were World, US, or Colorado Premieres! In 2026, the festival expands to three full days of hair-raising programming, giving you the chance to meet the masterminds behind the madness and pick up insider tips during exclusive filmmaker panels. Don’t miss your chance to experience horror on the big screen like never before!

COFOH 2026 Special Guests:
  • Paranormal investigators Bryan Bonner & Bob Lewis of Rocky Mountain Paranormal Research Society
